The Account Director Role

The Account Director is responsible for achieving an individual quarterly and annual sales quota based on opportunities sourced in an assigned geographic territory and agency list. The ideal sales executive will be responsible for prospecting new customers and growing existing relationships, contributing to meaningful revenue and strategic business opportunities for Seedtag. Candidate must be a team player and able to collaborate with their direct team, local, national, interntional market organization and everyone in the company that’s committed to our success. Seedtag seeks candidates with strong character, are self-motivated, excited about the contextual advertising space, are solutions oriented and have an insatiable desire to win.

Your Challenge

  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets as set by the Sales Director, Canada and President, North America.
  • Thoroughly understand your client’s business objectives and what they’re inherently looking to fix, accomplish, or avoid.
  • Clearly articulate Seedtag’s value proposition through professionally delivered live and virtual presentations.
  • Build and cultivate strong relationships at multiple levels with brands and agencies through consultative selling with prompt and personalized follow-up.
  • Seek out RFPs and RFIs for Seedtag to respond with business plans, media proposals and commercial opportunities that drive value for customers and revenue for the company.
  • Build and package innovative custom solutions that align well with the company’s core strengths and are deliverable.
  • Be accountable with accurate forecasting and a clean, up to date pipeline. CRM hygiene is a must.
  • Liaison with Ad Operations and Account Management to ensure they clearly understand what success looks like for the client.
  • Identify gaps in process and propose new automated procedures that can help the company scale.
  • Prioritize account retention by constantly looking to improve our work for the client with an eye on optimizing to outcomes.
  • Support cross-functional teams with customer insights, trends and case-studies of success.
