We are looking for a Technical Product Manager to lead two cross-functional teams, bring them closer to the business and to gather input from different stakeholders and translate it to the team.

These two teams include:

Contextual capabilities squad: Mainly composed of Data Scientists, responsible for generating our cognitive AI models that allow us to perfectly understand each and every article created in the open web.

Contextual platform squad: Team responsible to generate the infrastructure necessary for those models to run upon, escalate and ingest all that data.

It’s responsibilities will include:

  • Define and follow a technological roadmap: You will need to be able to have technical conversations on needs from other squads, especially AI and Data related squads, to gather needs and translate them into the team. These needs will constitute the roadmap. You will be able to reduce uncertainty as much as possible to properly coordinate delivery dates with the rest of the squads.
  • Internal and External evangelisation: You will be the point of contact for explaining (and sometimes selling) our AI capabilities. You will need to adapt technical developments to non-technical language, properly communicate our developments and innovation to internal teams (sales/adops/etc.) and externally to agencies and clients
  • Foresee the needs: You will need to understand other squads roadmaps, interact with other PMs and pave the road for the rest of the squads to lay the technological ground they will be needing in the near future
  • Build up from a rock to a castle: You will become part of a squad including MLOps, Backend, Data Engineers, Systems engineers and Data Scientists. Together with the Engineering Manager, you will need to understand development timings and uncertainty around these, be comfortable around MVPs to find possible short-cuts while understanding the tradeoffs made in the resulting technology, define future iterations to build up the best technology while ensuring its producing impact from the very beginning
  • Establish product metrics, KPIs and indicators for success: Together with the Engineering Manager, you will need to be responsible for the roadmap, the developments of the squad, ensuring and measuring the success of the projects, improving ways-of-working, etc.


      We’re looking for someone who

      • Is very entrepreneurial, not afraid to take risks and has great communication skills
      • Has an educational background in Engineering, maths, tech or a related area
      • Has 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager/Owner or Engineering Manager or another relevant role
      • Has experience working on big data infrastructure, AI in-production models, etc.
      • Can maintain high-level technical conversations with Data Scientists, MLOps, backend engineers, systems engineers, etc.
      • Loves technology and staying up to date with it
      • Knows how to make data-driven decisions and work on complex technical problems
      • Has a proven track record of working effectively under high pressure
      • Speaks fluent in English and Spanish, this is a must for this role
      • Is eager to work in a dynamic, innovative and fast-changing startup environment

      It would be a plus if you
